I recently had the chance to reconnect with my childhood friend, Brooke. She is in the midst of an exciting time in her life – she’s expecting a baby! When I caught wind of this wonderful news, I knew I had to be there to capture the magic. So, I packed my bags, hopped on a plane, and flew down to sunny Florida to document a beach couples session with them.

Brooke and John were getting ready to move back to Washington soon, but we managed to carve out the perfect window of time for me to visit before their big move. It was a whirlwind weekend filled with catching up and lots of photos!

We decided to go to Honeymoon Island State Park for our beach couples session. It was nothing short of spectacular. The golden sunset, the white sand, and the serenity—Florida beaches truly have a way of stealing your heart!

As we walked along the beach, Brooke couldn’t resist her passion for collecting seashells. I mean, who could blame her? There’s something so enchanting about scouring the sand for those little treasures from the sea. As she and John combed the waves together, lost in their world of love and anticipation, I couldn’t help but be so happy for the connection I was capturing!
