Stories & Inspiration, Weddings

Couple: Haley & Andrew
Location: Westmoreland, NH
Wedding Date: 9/13/25

Haley and Andrew’s Stone Garden wedding was the perfect blend of intentional moments and laid-back celebration. From the very beginning, they knew exactly how they wanted their day to feel. They chose to start with a private first look by the river, where they exchanged vows on the dock overlooking one of the most beautiful river views I’ve ever photographed! The water was calm, the weather was perfect, and it felt like the entire world slowed down just for them.

One thing I loved about this day was how thoughtfully they structured it. They wanted minimal photos during cocktail hour so they could truly relax and soak it all in with their favorite people (as they should!). They laughed, hugged, and later absolutely tore up the dance floor under Stone Garden’s stunning greenhouse-style reception space. The space is unlike any venue I’ve photographed before, and I hope I can return to photograph there again soon. It’s clean, bright, filled with natural light, and feels both modern and romantic all at once!

Later in the reception, I put together something Haley requested: a late-night flat lay. This involves grabbing pieces like leftover cake, drinks, rings, etc. In this case, I was also able to incorporate the custom disposable camera I made for them, along with some Polaroids I gifted to the couple during dinner (something new that I’ve been doing lately that has been a big hit!). I’m obsessed with the results! I’ve been trying to create them at every wedding since.

A Quick Bit About H&A:

Haley and Andrew met on Hinge shortly after Haley moved to Massachusetts, bonding over their shared love of wine and the beach. Their first date was a 45-minute drive to a vineyard north of Boston. After playing a game of wine tasting and heading to a corn maze afterwards, they hit it off! Since then, they’ve built a relationship full of cozy nights in, beach days, birdwatching adventures, and plenty of wine. One of their favorite ways to spend time together is what they call “parallel playing” – putting on music or a show and doing their own hobbies side by side, whether that’s reading, gaming, or cooking. They are just happy to be near each other!

I've been photographing weddings since 2021 and I'm loving every minute! When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, reading a fantasy book, or watching Modern Family with my husband Josiah of Josiah Does Videos.
